This cover is a meaningful part of any organisation’s employee benefits. It pays out a one-time cash amount to the family of a staff member if they pass away before retirement age, as long as they are still actively employed by your company at the time.It’s more than a financial benefit.

We’ve designed this cover to provide peace of mind for both the employer and the employee. The benefits include:

  • A lump sum payment to the family of the employee if they pass away while still in service.

    • Permanent Total Disability coverage if the staff member is completely unable to work
    • Last Expense Benefit to cater for staff funeral and related costs

Will Medical Tests Be Required?

For most staff, no medical exam is needed. Your team will be covered up to a certain amount, called the Free Cover Limit (FCL), automatically. If someone qualifies for a higher cover amount, a medical test may be required to approve the extra amount. Even if they choose not to take the test, they will still receive cover up to the FCL.
